We are pleased to invite you to participate in the first-ever California Wine Symposium in Havana, Cuba, January 31st – February 3rd. Coordinating this event will be Sonoma-based US Cava Exports, founded by Darius Anderson in 2014 with the sole purpose of assisting US-based companies to negotiate contracts to sell agricultural and food products to Cuba. Over the last 10 months, they have been working with local Cuban distributors, wine experts, and restaurant and resort managers assessing the market potential for California wines.
Monday, February 1st, 2016 – 150 guests (Public Officials/Trade).
4 – Bottles per winery
Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 – 800 Trade/Media Guests.
6 – Bottles each of up to 6 wines – Minimum 2 cases (24 bottles)
You may include up to 2 proprietary brands
Participating wineries will be given a 6 foot table during the Grand Tasting, 3:00pm – 7:00pm, Tuesday February 2nd, 2016. Set-up will be between 8:00am and 9:00am with an Opening Ceremony to kick off the symposium at 9:00am. All vintners must be present for a photo opportunity at the 9:00am Opening Ceremony.
Wine must be received by September 18th, 2015
